Guided Tours
Sherwood Energy Village receives a lot of requests for site visits. It isn’t always possible to accommodate individuals or very small parties as this can take up a lot of time for our development team. We have therefore come up with a programme of tour dates and fees.
The tours will commence in Sherwood Energy Village’s new headquarters – the E Centre, with a presentation about the background of the initiative and the Energy Village concept. This is followed by a walking tour of the site, excepting plots under construction (for safety reasons). The Energy Village site is 91 acres, so it is advisable to wear comfortable footwear. The visit lasts around two hours.
Participants can buy lunch and/or refreshments at the E Centre, either eating inside the bistro or outside on the decking overlooking the pond. Fact sheets will also be available for those attending.
The cost for these general visits is £25 per person. To book phone 01623 860222 or e-mail info@sev.org.uk giving your name, address and telephone number. Confirmation will be on receipt of your payment. Please make cheques payable to Sherwood Energy Village and send to the contact address shown on this web site. Should SEV need to cancel the visit date, either due to too few or too many applicants, you will have your payment reimbursed.
Larger organised visits from professional or support organisations can be accommodated separately but please contact the office for separate terms and conditions.
