SEV Solutions is currently working with a range of organisations from the not for profit, public and private sectors around sustainability projects.  It has a wealth of experience of delivering a range of services, from community based projects through to projects of international significance.  Some of the recent projects which SEV has been involved with include:
Sustainable Community Buildings Assessment Scheme.
Commissioned by the Coalfield Regeneration Trust to develop and implement a building design and construction sustainability assessment package. SEV delivered sustainability assessment and post assessment consultancy support services to a range of community projects based in North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire including pre and post design community buildings projects, including new build, demolition and rebuild, refurbishment, and extension building schemes.

DeCARB – Sustainable Development Commission funded research around mindsets to energy management and carbon reduction.
Contracted to undertake research around exploring attitudes to carbon reduction and energy management practices and consequent choices of energy systems within public and private sector organisations throughout the United Kingdom.

ECOS Ouvreture – Pan European sustainable development research commission.
Commissioned by Newark and Sherwood Energy Agency to undertake research and reporting activities around the development of the SEV approach for this pan-European knowledge transfer project which involved partners in Ireland, Austria, Hungary and Sweden.

Bio-energy research in the East Midlands commissioned by East Midlands Development Agency & the Swedish Government.
Delivered a scoping research study around the development of bio-energy within the private and public sectors in the East Midlands, on behalf of EMDA and the Swedish Government.

‘Catalyse’ – Sustainable design & construction CPD for design teams.
Working with the INREB Farady Partnership, Building Research Establishment (BRE), as well as the Universities of Loughborough, De Montfort, Nottingham and Ulster.  SEV was involved in delivering academic professional development (CPD) programmes for building design and construction professionals around sustainable design and construction principles, and incorporating these principles within service delivery in the market place.

STREEM – Practical skills based training around sustainable construction, for building and construction industries.
Research and development activities around the provision of sustainable design and construction focused training for construction trade professionals in the East Midlands.

East Midlands Regional Assembly – Viability assessment of community based renewable energy schemes.
Undertake an assessment of the financial and technical viability of community based renewable energy projects based in the East Midlands, as part of the East Midlands Community Renewables Initiative, a national DTI funded, Countryside Agency managed project to extend the development of renewable energy schemes throughout the United Kingdom.
