Opened in Spring 2006, and available for office lets, the E-Centre at Sherwood Energy Village is not only the prestigious new head office for the Energy Village but also offices for rent, particularly to companies within the environmental sector.
The crescent-shaped building, evocative of art-deco style, boasts a full height winter garden, acting as the ‘lungs’ of the building, capturing light, heat and passive ventilation. The centre has a centralised reception, a bistro with external decking over an architectural pond.  There is also car parking and pleasantly landscaped grounds illuminated by off-grid renewable energy powered lampposts.

With green roofs, rainwater harvesting and heat from ground source heat pumps, the E-Centre is a pleasure to work in.
The E-Centre has:
  • a centralised reception providing services to tenants and building users
  • a bistro with external decking over an architectural pond
  • allocated car parking to each office; and
  • pleasantly landscaped grounds within a larger 91-acre mixed use development
There are also transitional work points for business people on the move and meeting/conference rooms for hire.  The centre forms part of a growing number of businesses and facilities locating to the Energy Village.
